To achieve our dramatic new look we took off the old doors and painted the cabinet frames with a black satin finish oil paint. If the screws are caked with old paint clean out the channel with the tip of a knife or small screwdriver. Before you start anything draw out your kitchen layout and label each and every door and drawer before you remove them. Then we hung slightly larger cherry panel doors with concealed euro style hinges. Remove the cabinet doors and shelves. Label every door and drawer.
