Renault Megane Convertible Roof Wont Open

I have renault megane convertible 2000 and recently suffered from leaking roof wet floor issue.

I have a 2004 renault megane hard top cabriolet. When i try and open the roof the boot starts to open on one side only offside the other side of the boot trys to open so the hydraulic ram is working but the release catch in the boot does not release. The message roof mechanism fault displays. Just had the same problem with mine here s what the problem was the hydrolic fluid had gone bellow the min level indicator because of a slight leak to the ram the reservoir is located in the back n s boot.
