Fold right toile section at the 23 5 wide to begin center pleat. Use your power drill or electric screwdriver to attach the l brackets to the wall with wood screws. Step 3 attach the box valance. Measure so you get the rod channel straight.

After you turn the valance right side out and press it sew a line of stitching the length of the fabric connecting the tops of the two openings and then repeat to connect the bottoms of the openings to make the rod channel. Have someone help you hold the valance in place. A more subtle repeat but still evident. This valance is 20 long at it s longest point by 76 5 wide finished.

If you look close you ll notice the pattern repeated within the valances above. A railroaded fabric on the other hand doesn t do this. Warrantied fully installed and maintenance free. Each scallop is 25 5 wide. This fold will be approximately 3 deep on each side and 6 along back of pleat. Measure 23 5 from the right side of the toile section to center of valance. Repeat the process for the other side.

You wouldn t want the curtain to start at half way point of a medallion for example. Get it as soon as tue sep 15. This includes tassels fringe tabs. Repeat with left side toile section.
